Giving back with furnace installations

We just completed a furnace installation, which was the last system we donated during our grand opening. The picture with this blog is just one of the many that Howald Heating and Air Conditioning will always cherish. That’s a great smile on our owner’s face and a warm hug.

We decided for our grand opening that our family wanted to give away an air conditioner or furnace to a family in Indianapolis who was in need. We know the economy has been tough on a lot of people. We consider ourselves fortunate and simply wanted to give back.

What we discovered after we asked for people to write letters is there are so many Indianapolis families in need, we wanted to help them all. That’s why we decided to not just give away one HVAC unit, but five!! Yep, you read that right. We gave away five air conditioners or furnaces (a family’s choice).

Everyone was overcome with surprise. Our team here at Howald HVAC was overcome with joy to be able to give back.

Here is our challenge to you. Thanksgiving is this week. Find a way to give back to someone in the community, whether it’s a donation in the Salvation Army Red Kettle or Toys for Tots.
