Confessions and promises from an Indy HVAC company owner

I’m Larry owner of Howald Heating, Air Conditioning and Plumbing, an Indy HVAC company with plumbing services, too. I have a confession. I really love my job!

I swear I don’t have blood type A, B or O. I have blood type HVAC.

I can’t imagine going to work every day in Indy, counting the hours and minutes until I’d be able to get out of that place. Nope, not me! I’ve been in the furnace and air conditioning business for almost 40 years and have loved every minute of it. I get to meet customers every day. I really like that. They are great people—neighbors, friends and fellow Hoosiers.

During the work week, I’m usually the first one to arrive in the morning and the last to leave at night. As I close the doors at night and shut off the lights in the office, I look forward to tomorrow and all of those challenges that will pop up in the morning.

My goal is to have every person in our company love their job as much as I love mine. I want our HVAC techs to knock on your front door with a smile on their face and a firm handshake to assure each and every customer they are in good hands. Customers should not have to worry about a thing.
